Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Inbo, an AI-powered email assistant operated by SGGECOM Ltd ("we", "our", "us"), a company registered in Scotland, United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using the Inbo service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Plain English: Using Inbo means you accept these rules. They're reasonable — please read them.
The service
Inbo is an AI-powered email assistant that connects to your Gmail account to help you manage your inbox. The service includes:
- Automatic categorisation of incoming emails using AI
- AI-generated draft replies for review and approval
- Application of labels and organisational tags to your Gmail inbox
- A unified inbox interface for reviewing, editing, and sending email replies
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice where possible for material changes.
Your account
To use Inbo you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly at hello@getinbo.io if you suspect unauthorised access
You must be at least 18 years old to use Inbo. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or remain inactive for an extended period.
Gmail access and authorisation
Inbo connects to your Gmail account via Google's OAuth 2.0 authorisation framework. By connecting your Gmail account, you authorise Inbo to:
- Read your emails — to display and categorise your inbox
- Create drafts — to save AI-generated replies to your Gmail Drafts folder
- Send emails — to send replies you have reviewed and explicitly approved within the Inbo interface
- Modify emails — to apply labels and mark messages as read
Inbo will never send an email on your behalf without your explicit approval within the application. You retain full control over what is sent.
You can revoke Inbo's access to your Gmail account at any time via your Google Account permissions. Revoking access will disable Gmail-dependent features within Inbo.
Our use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Inbo to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or any communication that violates applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or harm any individual or organisation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate accounts accordingly.
